Free, but required
Nonprofit corporations pay no fee for the Annual Report, but they must still file it by June 30 each year. Our service for a nonprofit is $42 — there is no state fee to pass through.
Governors and officers
List the directors (or members of an other body) as governors — they must be natural persons — and the principal officers: a president, a secretary and a treasurer.
Not the same as charity registration
The Annual Report is a Department of State corporate filing. It does not replace charitable-organization registration or any IRS filing.
What the report asks for
- Name of the association
- Jurisdiction of formation
- Entity/file number issued by the Department of State
- Registered office in Pennsylvania — a street address, or the name of a commercial registered office provider (CROP) and county of venue — and any change to it
- Principal office address — and any change to it
- Name of at least one governor
- Names and titles of the principal officers, if any
How to file
