Rules that change the date

  • First year: no report is due in the year a business forms or registers. The first report is due the following year.
  • Domestic and foreign alike: foreign associations registered in Pennsylvania follow the same deadlines as domestic ones of the same type.
  • Every year: the filing window opens January 1 and the report must be current as of the day it is filed.
  • Weekends: file ahead of the date. Online filing is available at any time and is processed automatically.

What if the date passes?

There is no state late fee. Starting with reports due in 2027, Pennsylvania may administratively dissolve, cancel or terminate an association six months after its deadline if the report is still not filed. What to do if you’re late.
